Can we bring our own food in?
Yes by all means but please don't over cater. we have a caterer who we can direct you to his name is Raj from the coffee shop over the road he is very reasonable and knows the best options for easy finger food. he will deliver to the Treehouse at the start of your function. See the Menu link for his standard menu options, other menu options on request.
Do we need ID for a private function?
Yes the rules are the same sorry no ID no entry if you look under 25 Under 18's are able to come in with a parent or legal Guardian, but we must be made aware on entry. Same rules for intoxication as normal.
Can we hire the bull for an outside event?
Sorry we don't like to hire him out of the bar as its a big drama, as we need to get a council permit then if its out of the bar we get lots of complaints "where is Boris" he is also a lot of work to dismantle pack up and re-assemble, then lug up and down the stairs. It's a lot easier for you to come to us and have your party at the TREEHOUSE as for only $100 you have security - music & free use of the bull for your party!!!!!!
Can we Have a band?
Yes we have had bands in the past we find they are normally very loud and as we are a smaller venue our music system and the Karaoke tend to work better as once everyone has had a few drinks it breaks the ice to have a work colleague or someone they know get up and sing the DJ's are happy to sing with people if they are karaoke Virgins......
Can we bring in our own drinks?
Sorry that's a big No No - This is where we make our living from and its also Illegal as we are not BYO licenced.
Can we play our own music on the system during our function?
Yes that's no problem - easiest way is on a memory stick in mp3 format
Can we put pictures up on the big screen?
Yes by all means we need them to be in JPEG format the easiest way is on a Memory stick, They will rotate through the pictures in the order they are numbered in eg 1 before 2 and 1 before a etc. Please note as we are using them through our DJ music system it dosen't work very well if they are in another program eg. power point as We are unable to run both simultaniously - same with videos.
How many people can the venue hold?
The venue can hold 120 people, from past experience no one has managed to fill it apart from corporate events. If its for a 21st birthday and there is a bar tab on its usually a good turn out, but remember to invite more as there is always a percentage of no-shows and people turning up really late. From experience a lot do not turn up on time and if you invite 150 about 80 show so to fill the venue you either need to sell tickets or invite lots more than you expect to show. A bar tab works wonders for turnout lol.

Why a $500 min bar tab for 18th's?
Generally a poor turnout unless there is a bar tab, If you don't want to put on a bar tab just come with a group on the night. Same goes for non major birthdays, ie. 23rds etc unless there is a good reason.
When do we need to pay the $100 and whats it for?
Your party is only confirmed once we receive the payment so if we get another inquiry for the same date if they pay first its theirs... Sounds mean but we get a lot of bookings that don't follow through so if you want it get the payment in ASAP. (within the week of booking) The $100 gives you free bull use during your function - Exclusive use of the Venue until we open to the public - D.J. Security & bar staff - Free Karaoke - pictures on the big screen (if you wish) Food prep etc...for your party - All for $100
Do we need to pay the $100 booking fee for a fundraiser?
Yes to confirm the booking but we will return it to you over the bar a common way is to use for prises to help sell tickets eg. Prize for best bull singer etc.
How many tickets can - Should we sell?
We can legally hold 120 but a lot will not show or come late so sell as many as you can as many will buy just to support the cause, you can also sell on the door on the night.
What price should we sell the ticket for?
We have found $5 works well as its easy to sell tickets $10 is a lot harder to sell - up to you.
What discounted drinks do you do?
Our $6 drink range - $4 tap beers, house spirits, House wine & house cocktails.
